Extreme Make-Over... Diamond Edition

Poor, old, hairy Diamond. He is over 23 years old. His brother, Snow, died like eight years ago. They were little buddies. He is so old that he can't shed his hair like the rest of the horses and that makes him itchy so he scratches bald spots into him.

This is what he looks like:

So Jake trimmed his feet and then we got out horse hair clippers and went to town.

Then we cut his bangs and tail with scissors.

Poor Diamond. But he is going to feel so much better. We let him eat as much of the yummy grass as he wanted to.

Did you know that icelandic ponies (that's the breed Diamond is) always have one brown eye and one blue eye?

Needless to say, Jake and I have a new friend. Diamond keeps to himself but when we were leaving he followed us like wait don't go! Keep pampering me! Haha :)

Then there was a big mess to clean up... Bleh!
