House Flipping!

Jake and I partnered with Jake's sister Shalina and her husband Dane to flip a house! It is the house next door to them. We chose that house because it's a super convenient location and it is in a nice neighborhood near stores and hospitals and doctors and has a park so we shouldn't have a hard time selling it. We are replacing carpet throughout, replacing kitchen and bathroom floors, repainting the walls, replacing the siding, fixing up the sun room, remodeling the laundry room and master bedroom, taking down popcorn ceiling and mudding it, doing a counter restore on the kitchen and one of the bathroom counters, replacing windows, replacing interior doors, doing a little bit of yard work, and replacing light fixtures. That's just off the top of my head...

We closed on the house April 12! We have had a lot of fun with Dane and Shalina, making plans and shopping around. Jake, Dane, and Shalina put in a full day's work on Saturday (I worked at Carlisle's all day). Here are all the before pictures of our "Flipping House!"By the way, they are completely unorganized.
In the kitchen we are replacing the floors, light fixture, sink, and doing a cabinet and counter restore
 Terrible
We are expanding the kitchen floor to here where the table sits, rather than keeping carpet. And we have to do something about the ancient AC
Upstairs family room, connected to the picture above. We are replacing the popcorn ceiling and the carpet and, like everywhere in the house, repainting. The windows in the pictures up til now are not being replaced.
Upstairs bathroom. New floors, counter restore, and light fixtures. Also new wall paint. Oh and a new door.
The upstairs. We are replacing the flower pot thing by the stairs with a railing.
Bedroom #1 upstairs, new paint, new door, new carpet, new window, new ceiling.
Upstairs bedroom #2, same as bedroom #1
Upstairs hall closet between the two bedrooms. I think just a new door.
 Going downstairs... New stairs carpet.
Blurry front door. Probably just paint it white. New locks and handles. The garage door is at the bottom of the stairs on the left, just painting it.
Another going down, putting up a railing, new paint, new carpet.
The main family room on the main floor. New paint, windows, and carpet. Luckily the popcorn ceiling was only upstairs. The doors you see go to the sun room.
Sun room doors. Depending on the budget towards the end we will replace or paint the doors.
Door that leads to backyard and a closet
Sunroom.  New window, just the one, and getting rid of that counter thing and getting new floors.
 Cleaning these windows.
 Will possibly replace these doors.
Going into the house, from the sunroom.
 Sunroom looking to backyard.
 Going to the basement
New window, paint, and carpet. Also we're replacing all those base heaters with wall cadets.
Adding class to the cabinet doors and possibly painting the rock.

 Going to the bedroom downstairs...
Replace with wall cadet, new paint, new window
This is the laundry room, in the basement, we already ripped out those cabinets and the walls and are going to paint and just add shelves.
 Also, new floors
Hallway to the master, utility closet on the right, hall closet on the left
we're making this frame bigger and adding a regular door.
Back to the small basement bedroom. New paint

 Wall cadet
Just new paint and cleaning in this bathroom
Basement hall closet, I don't think we are doing anything at all in here
Hall closet in basement, doing nothing
Master. That TV holder is being ripped out, new door
 Laundry room floor, being replaced
 Walking into master...
That wall divides the room from the closet. It cuts the room in half so there's a huge closet and a so/so sized room. We are pushing the wall back like 5 feet I think... To the middle of the window you see, right now the window looks into the closet.
 One side of the closet
 Same side, dif angle
Other side of the closet. Right now its not a walk through, there is a dividing wall that we are taking down
The wall to the right is coming down and the other wall is being pushed back
Still the giant closet, its a mess right now
Master, how weird about the window looking in the bathroom, right?? By the way, the two bedroom windows are being replaced, not the one above the tub.

 Garage, a real hot mess.
I don't even know what all we have to do in here, Jake and Dane are figuring it out
Backyard, the door to the house is where the photographer (my hubby) is standing, the doors to the sunroom are to the right
Just new siding and at the end we'll decide if we can stain the deck or not

 Backyard

 Side yard

Adding another wood piece so kids can't fall off

Dane will re sod the backyard

Dog house is going, bye bye

There are two sheds, the front one, to the left, is being ripped down. That window is the family room window. It will be better with just the shed off to the right.
We'll just extend the fence to the house.
inside the shed... I don't know what I justadded down below... oops
