4th of July, IF Zoo, Sant's Visit Idaho!

This summer my family came out west for my brother Ben's wedding. While they were here they drove to Idaho to stay with Jake and I for a few days. It was AWESOME! My family is so great! I love how well Jake fits in. We had so much fun and partied like rock stars. Here is a jumble of pictures!
This was us waiting for my dad and Jake to get back with pizza.. they took forever! I was sacrificed.

This is a video of Jake making fun of a commercial we saw on TV. :)

On the 4th of July Jake and the littles made us blue and red pancakes and eggs! Well, that was the thought that counted behind what it actually ended up being, which was pink pancakes and green eggs. :) So fifteen of my pictures won't load and I am super annoyed but posting this anyways because it's time. But one of the pictures is of my mom and I eating our breakfast outside on the patio with the hummingbird feeder and flowers. It was lovely.

We went to the Tautphaus Park Zoo and had a blast!

This monkey would start out quietly screaming/howling and got louder and louder and higher and higher until he was screeching and flying all around the room! It was HILARIOUS! He was crazy!

I LOVE the Sant family tradition of wearing matching Old Navy 4th of July shirts!

He's cute.

This was Daniel! Haha! I think this was right after the zoo. Nothing like a nap in an AC'd room!

Oh man, I cannot remember the story behind this picture... I know it's funny though... It seems like Jake was mimicking me or something... Dang it! I need to keep up with blogging better so that I have better memories of these things!

Melaluca puts on a HUGE fireworks show every year. It's really cool! There is a radio station that is set to a program that fits the fireworks. This year three people, drunk, got lost in the river by the fireworks show and so the show was delayed one hour, if I remember correctly. Never fear! We had a blast anyways! This is in the parking lot right up the hill from where we live. We were lucky cause there was no one else there. We played ninja (SUCH FUN!) while Jake's car played the radio!

Eventually the firework show started. We watched it from our street, we had a straight view, and we listened to the radio program from Jake's car. It was beautiful as always!

Before heading back to Utah, we visited my great grandma Powell at her rest home in Rexburg. She is a crack up, we love visiting her. I think these pictures of her and my mom holding hands are priceless.

Jumping all over the place, while in Idaho we of course spent some time up at the Cromwell's to see Lia! This is Joseph with Diamond.

It was so cool that my brothers and dad rode the horses with Jake! I had never seen that side of them before! Brave souls....

Of course we had to take advantage of a little pool time... Pool basketball!

While the girlies chilled. Mom rocks the dead mans float but freaks out when she sees her kids rocking it, too, because it looks so real!!

I wish I would have posted this earlier because I would have remembered so much more. And I couldn't get fifteen of my pictures to load so there are some things missing from the trip. But basically we all decided that this part was our favorite part because we just had a ton of fun together as a family! I wish they could have stayed longer!

That's the problem with back-blogging :) You forget all of the little moments. But we all do it. :) Red and blue pancakes are such a good idea!

I LOVED visiting your house! We had SO MUCH FUN!!!

Hahahahaha! I laughed out loud at so many of the pictures!

I totally remember all of eating your limbs. You are very lean. I need more fat in my diet. We.were.starving.

I also loved the 4th of July breakfast and eating with you on the patio and the flowers and all the lovelies!

Remember how sad the lion looked? And how the penguins walked up to people? That's not right! Those monkeys were cray.zee. At least it was air conditioned.

I am glad to hear you like the tradition of the Old Navy shirts. Every year I think ehhhhh ... maybe it's time to let that one go but then on the few years I haven't done it, I totally regret it.

I can't remember what Jake was doing, either. Dang it. It was super funny, though.

You have a ton of pictures that I do not! Especially of Ninja. I love the one of Ben totally smiling!

I also did not know that you took pictures of me and my tiny grandma. She is so awesome!

Dad loves to ride horses. I think that he would live on land with horse property if he could. Horses stress me out because they are so human like and smart and I worry about them. Not like cats. Who cares about them? But horses just seem so ... smart.

It was really super nice of the Cromwells to let us use their pool, their throwing wall, and their horses.

AND the FRESH raspberries! Oh, I seriously thought I had died and gone to heaven.

I love you, baby!
