New TV, New Grill, Thanks A & J C!

Jake's older brother Adam bought a new 3D TV (whaaat? that exists? technology is SO cool!) and gave us his old sony rear projection TV! So nice and very generous of them. Jake was ALL OVER that as soon as Adam offered it ;). On top of the TV Adam also gave us his old grill. It was like Christmas! We really appreciate their generosity. Adam and Jennie are awesome. I could talk to Jennie all day long. Remember when their son Harrison made me a book right after Jake and I got engaged? You can remember it HERE. Just a good family!

I barely made it home from work in time to run after the guys carrying it up the stairs! This is the picture I got.

I was impressed with them because this TV has got to be super heavy, it's like 30'' thick from the front to the back, 56'' high and 61'' wide! Adam, Tyson, Steve, and Dane helped Jake get it into the condo. Thanks, guys! Oh, and Memrie carried the remote! Can't forget that! ;) Haha.

Jake's most excited because this TV is new enough that we can get a cable to connect my laptop to it so we can watch Netflix on the TV. Our old TV was too old and didn't have the right kind of plug in.

Thanks again Adam and Jennie! We are excited for cooking on the grill!!

SQUIRREL!

No, really, squirrel! One time Jake heard the squirrel in our wall. I was at work and thought that he was going crazy. No, sure enough there was a squirrel in our vent! He had to have been in there a couple of days. And he was very calm and silent and shy and skinny. We got him out with a little bit of peanut butter and then released him outside. Here are the pictures of the eviction:

Then, maybe a week later I heard the sounds again. I told Jake and he check and SURE ENOUGH another squirrel! This one I heard drop in and so he was fresh and wild with tons of energy! He was scared and loud and fat and heavy! We were not a fan of him! So we drown him. It was sad and gross but fast and painless and humane!

Don't worry, Jake informed the HOA and he went up on our roof and covered all of the openings with chicken wire.
