Two Year Anniversary!

How did I get so lucky? I married the best man out there. He brings out the best in me. He spoils me. He works hard for me. He cooks for me. He teaches me. He plays with me. He goofs off with me. He loves my family. He is a worthy priesthood holder. He is responsible. He is sooooo cute and handsome and sexy. He thinks I am so cute and pretty and sexy. He is funny. He thinks I am funny. He is kind and sweet and sensitive to everyone. He is a friend to everyone. He is talented and skilled beyond belief. He is a cowboy. He lets me spoil our horse and treat her like a child. He is always doing things to surprise me and make me happy. He serves me and everyone else he knows. He is forgiving. He has a huge heart. He cries, it's sweet and adorable. He has goals. He wants to be a dad so bad and loves talking with me about names, plans, rules, parenting philosophies, etc even though we aren't pregnant yet. He listens to me ramble... all. the. time. He is strong, physically and spiritually. He is faithful. He is an amazing big brother to his three younger siblings and to my five siblings. He is also an amazing friend to his older siblings and to his friends. He is loyal. He is my husband and I can't believe I am lucky enough to call him that! I am so blessed.

I planned our first anniversary, which you can read about here. He planned this one, and we'll plan our third one together. I had so much fun last year planning our trip to Lava Hot Springs and surprising Jake with everything. This year I had so much fun being surprised! He went above and beyond what I expected! He told me Sunday night that I was going to sleep in Monday morning and if I woke up to go back to sleep and wait for him to come in. He said he would come in by 8:30. Yes, that is deep sleeping in to Jake's standards. So I woke up at 9 and rolled back over. Woke up again a little later and couldn't hear him anywhere, so I got up and he was not home! I checked the garage and the door was open! So of course I'm thinking he took out the garbage or something and someone knocked him out and took our car. He's dead in a ditch. I called my mom to see if I was being irrational and he pulled up. Phew! So I got back in bed but was busted because I left the door open, he had left it closed. Oh well, punk, you had me worried! ;) He brought me a vanilla bean cream frap and it was delicious. Then he made me breakfast in bed. I got ready and then he took me to the next surprise...

Blast Off! We were the oldest people there but it was fun. We played mini golf and laser tag. We played three rounds of laser tag and we were the only two playing. It was SO FUN. I liked that way better! We were laughing and hiding from each other and sneaking up on each other, it was a blast with just the two of us. We kept trying to get a good picture at the end of every round and it never quite worked out...

We had a lot of fun there. Then it was time for the next surprise... I had been craving KFC for SO LONG it was crazy. So he took me to KFC but then we got back in the car and he took me to Tautphaus Park in Idaho Falls and we had a picnic! I LOVE PICNICS I really don't know why we don't do them more often! Our last picnic was last year on our anniversary.

I love my picnic stuff that my mom made me. LOOOOOVE IT!

After the picnic he took me to see Now You See Me. It was way cool and good but I was confused. It's one you have to be smart or watch it a few times!

Then we went to the mall to find clothes for family pictures this summer. We didn't find any that would work?! It was so weird. But we found some other clothes that were on sale or needed and that was great. I have one pair of jeans that I can get in to... they don't really even fit but I can at least get into them so I really badly needed new pants. Boo. But yay for Jake taking me!

Then I thought the day was over! But noooo. Jake had ANOTHER surprise for me! On our honeymoon we stayed in a themed hotel that and it was so fun! Well he made a reservation for us to stay at Destination Inn in Idaho Falls! We stayed in England and it was AMAZING.

It had an aroma therapy steam shower with scented oils that you put in! We chose sweet pea and it was yummy. The breakfast was delicious. We had so much fun. I always have Mondays off but Jake called Sherry and asked if I could have Tuesday off as well. She of course said yes because she is so kind!

So Tuesday we woke up at 9 when they delivered our breakfast. We watched The Break Up (the hotel had some DVD's you could borrow but we were the last guests there so there was slim pickings). It was a funny movie. We left at noon and spent the day installing our new AC. The old one was broken and the previous owners didn't replace it before we moved in, but it's now hot enough that we had to.

We still have to replace the frame that goes around the AC so I'll add pictures once that is done. While we were doing that I got a package from my mom in the mail!!!!!!

How lucky am I? The table runner, towels, and coasters match the curtain that I made to go in the kitchen and the blue and yellow walls that we have! They are perfect and SO fabulous! I want to be as talented as my mom when I grow up! Thank you mom!
